I forgot to mention in the video that the notes can be sung using note names, body part names, or solfege syllables, each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages.
The complete chromatic body scale from bottom to top:
D (do) = toes
E flat = ankles
E = knees
F = thighs
F sharp = hips
G = waist
G sharp = chest
A = shoulders
B flat = chin
B = mouth
C = nose
C sharp = eyes
D = head
This system has worked for me, though it is not without flaws. The main problems that I see with this particular distribution of the body parts is that the difference between hips and waist can be difficult to differentiate, and the words shoulders and ankles have two syllables, which can create problems when singing very quickly. In addition, the range is limited to one octave.
