Learning Trills - level Intermediate

What really helped me when I started learning trills was to simply play slower rythms such as eighth notes slurred and soon move on to triplets and sixteenth notes. Before I knew it I was able to play trills better than anyone in my orchestra at the time. Just make sure the student maintains proper bow speed and the left hand fingers don't collapse when playing trills as it becomes a tendency.
