Thank you very much indeed for the above posting available, however It all seems very clear on the video...but...when I do try and put it into practice I face difficulties. In this context would there be additional guidance as to how to approach on a step by step basis in order to eventually build up to what Elliot performs. thank you Flavio

I'd suggest that you check out the post on Duport 7 and work on some of the different variations of that etude that are suggested. My ricochet is nothing like Elliot's, but Duport 7 has certainly helped me to improve it. Good luck, and when you do master the ricochet stroke, please share your secrets. I'm sure that just about everyone could use some extra pointers.

Great demo on the ricochet stroke, but I'm wondering whether the little "Mt. Fuji" motion is in both the up and downbow direction? Elliot demo's the stroke only on the downbow, and then does the sextuplet, and quadruplet egs. using both up and downbow... Thanks.
